who we are

Sense of Sync (SOS) is a multi-disciplinary creative collective lead and founded by Nas Abraham in 2019, with a focus on creating dynamic visuals, unforgettable content and thought-provoking concepts, tailored to specific aesthetics.

Nas created the studio in response to the growing need of larger scale dynamic visuals, as well as authentic, heart-felt street level visuals, and since its’ conception, we have completed several campaigns (national and global) for the likes of Palladium, Nike, Dr. Martens, Flannels, Gucci, and worked with a myriad of musicians and artists. Currently SOS has a very understated digital presence, as our work has come mainly from word of mouth.

PROCESS

SOS’s ethos stems from Nas’ personal approach, with technical execution mixed with artistic exploration, we create from the heart, producing powerful visuals.

We are very adaptable in our process, working by pitching and creating concepts entirely ourselves, or by being given a brief/ concept for us to bring to life.

CROCS FOR OFFICE

The SOS team was commissioned by UK shoe retail giant Office to produce and execute a set of dynamic visuals for their Crocs summer campaign. While the concept came from Office’s team, we formulated a visual approach to communicate the theme, this included overall image style, 3D elements, set design, moving image and edit style, vfx sound design and grading and the 3D Jibbitz which we modelled completely from scratch using 3D software. The campaign was made into incredible set of window displays and in-store promotion, placed around multiple Office locations across the UK, most notably their Carnaby Street store.

“stillness in motion”- COLLECTIBLE DRY magazine

Presenting "Stillness in Motion" - The SOS team were commissioned by Italian publication Collectible Dry to create a captivating editorial that explores the delicate interplay between movement and stagnation. Through our expertise in conceptualisation art direction and production, we aimed to create a set of visuals that were highly expressive and representative of what we can do when unrestrained.

HYPEBEAST X MONCLER GRENOBLE

We worked alongside the Hypebeast team to produce the Moncler Grenoble campaign film entitled “Macro Moncler”- which was based on natural macro textures that represent the qualities and characteristics that the pieces possess. We used our signature style of vintage digital mixed media stills to contrast the high-end cinematography bring the content to life.

NIKE AIRMAX “BLISS” FOR OFFICE

Commissioned by Office to conceptualise and execute the Nike “Bliss” campaign. We tooka lot of inspiration from early 2000’s technology adverts, using a lot of the cool electrichues, chrome materials and 00’s styling to compliment the trainers. Complete with customdesigned graphic motifs, 3D digital assets such as an

Dr Martens Global Campaign

The Sense of Sync team was commissioned by the agency Platform13 help execute their concept for their client Dr Martens on a Global campaign with a theme of bringing a hyper-digital aesthetic to DM’s rebellious core brand. We had a variety of visual elements coming together, from designing and creating CGI backgrounds from scratch photography of talent and products, which were then retouched and composited across CGI backgrounds, that we we designed and built completely from scratch. We also shot and directed the film, edited and composited the video motion, chroma-keying, to grading and sound design, all in-house.

MTV X UMBRO

The SOS team was commissioned by Fabric PR to visualise the Umbro X MTV capsule campaign, which featured up and coming Manchester band ‘Porij’. We worked on combining elements from the 90’s Manchester rave scene with iconic MTV 80’s idents and retro graphic art. We produced all of the assets for this campaign, from video interview, campaign/ product photography, set design, ident animations and graphic artwork.

“BIOLUMINESCENCE” - NOTION MAGAZINE

The Sense of Sync team Inspired by the ethereal glow emitted by bioluminescent algae, we explored and interpreted this natural phenomenon through a set of stills and moving image. Styled by Jessica Daolio, she used vibrant and ethereal pieces from Gucci, Chanel, Valentino, Issey Miyake etc to compliment the dreamlike set design, props by Kit Falcke. The moving image piece shot and lit by Michael Kinsella Perks, sought to combine the soft, kinetic movement of flowing water with the intense shock and vibrancy of bio-electricity.https://notion.online/editorial-bioluminescence/

The SOS team was commissioned by Office Shoes to create a campaign around the launch of their Nike AF1 Fontanka. The shoes’ physical appearance has a deconstructed/ “makeshift” feel to them, so we wanted to represent that feeling through the visuals, with collage, mixing lofi toy-camera footage and photography with high end cinecam footage and DSLR photography.

Sense of Sync (SOS) is a multi-disciplinary creative collective with a focus on creating dynamic, unforgettable and conceptually-rich visual content.

The SOS collective was founded in 2019 by Visual Artist Nas Abraham, and was formed from the growing need to create both highly creative content, and to build a world-wide community of passionate creators, which we call "The SOSiety") connected by the same love creating.

Nas created the collective in response to the growing need of dynamic, experimental digital content, but also engaging editorial content. Since SOS conception, we have completed several campaigns (national and global) for the likes of Palladium, Nike, Dr. Martens, Flannels, Gucci, and worked with a myriad of musicians and artists.
